Founded in 2020, Chicca’s Cooking Club is your doorway to an authentic Italian culinary experience. By becoming a member, you’ll have the opportunity to cook alongside me and fellow enthusiasts in our live, interactive cooking classes streamed directly from my kitchen in Tuscany via Zoom. You’ll also join our online international community that shares the same passion for authentic Italian cuisine. 
We gather once or twice a month and together we’ll cook authentic Italian recipes, And I’ll make Italian cooking simple and enjoyable for you. Registration is currently closed and only opens for a limited time each season, but you can join our waitlist to be the first to know when we start accepting new members. I can’t wait to bring the flavors of Italy to your home and create cherished culinary memories!

Membership and Registration

To become a member of Chicca’s Cooking Club, registration is required. We open registration three times a year, at the start of December, April, and July. Currently, registration is closed, but don’t worry! You can join our waitlist to be the first to know when we reopen the doors to new members.
The cost of the membership is $149 and includes access to:

✔︎ 4-month membership – join a global community of happy cooks from around the world.

✔︎ 6 interactive Italian cooking classes – Have fun cooking alongside me on six Saturdays, around lunchtime in the US, via Zoom. Anyone in a member’s household can join, too, so you can make a party of it!

✔︎ Replay videos – Don’t worry if you miss a Saturday class, you’ll get the video recording in your inbox in 24 hours after class to cook at your own time later.

Every season, I’ll share six brand-new Italian recipes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Each dish tells a story, the ones from my family and Italian culinary traditions. From homemade pasta—whether you use a machine or your own two hands—to Mediterranean-inspired veggie dishes and delicious  desserts, I’ll guide you through each recipe step by step.
For each recipe you’ll get wine pairing recommendation,
graciously shared by our friend and member Linda from Mysommfriend.

By participating in our classes, means more than mastering new Italian dishes to share with your loved ones. It’s also about connecting with a vibrant global food community— all from the comfort of your own kitchen. We connect through Zoom, emails and a private Facebook group. This is a place where to share your photos, get support from me, my team, engage with other fellow cooks around the world (optional).

About Chicca's Cooking Club Seasonal Membership

When are the live cooking classes held?
Online classes will be on Saturdays around lunch time in the United States, dinner time in Italy.

What time will the classes be?
Our schedule allows for mainland U.S. time zones to participate around lunch time, while it’s evening in Italy.
Classes start 10:30am PT / 1:30pm ET / 7:30pm Italy and go for 60-90 minutes.

When will I know what ingredients to purchase for the classes?
The full recipe and list of ingredients for each class are already published on the Members page, so you can start to prepare for future classes as soon as you enroll. You will also receive a shopping list by email about one week in advance.

What if I miss a live cooking class or have to leave early?
Members will have access to video recordings of each class. That way you can watch the replay whenever is most convenient for you.

How does it work? Do I need a special program to participate in the membership?
Cooking classes will be held on Zoom. This requires a quick and easy download, but you do not need a special Zoom account to participate.
The video lessons library, recipes, and live class information for the Club will be hosted on this website. Members will have a username and password to access these private webpages.
The best way to interact with Chicca throughout the week will be through email or the Club’s exclusive Facebook group (optional). Important Club communications will also be sent out by email.

Will the classes be taught in English?
Yes. Chicca teaches in English and co-host, Denise, will facilitate in English.

How much is the membership and what does it cover?
Membership is $149 for the season. A season covers 4 months. It includes six live cooking classes, plus access to our exclusive online community, new class replay videos, 70+ past class replays, and a growing library of recipes and cooking tips.

Is membership paid monthly?
Membership is paid up front for each season, and a season covers four months. A season covers 4 months. It includes six live cooking classes, plus access to our exclusive online community, new class replay videos, 70+ past class replays videos to watch on demand, and a growing library of recipes and cooking tips. Purchasing a membership offers a significant price reduction when enrolling in classes as a bundle.

Can I just sign up for individual classes instead?
Yes, tickets to join live classes will be sold a la carte. Classes will be $37 per device, per class.
By purchasing the membership, you can save 35% on new classes, plus take advantage of the additional benefits of being a Club member (including access to all class replays from past seasons).

When can I sign up for becoming a member of Chicca’s Cooking Club ?
Registration for the membership is closed now and we don‘t allow new members to join in the middle of a season. But don‘t worry! You can still participate in our classes – you can purchase them à la carte! We will open doors to the next season of the Club on April 1st, 2024, we are looking forward to welcoming new members. Can I get a refund?
We do offer full refunds if you decide the membership is not for you before the first cooking class of the season. Feel free to take a look around the members-only webpages, the Facebook community, and even watch last season’s classes during this time. Once classes are underway, your membership becomes non-refundable.

Can I purchase individual classes?

Once membership registration is closed, you can purchase individual classes. Registration to join live classes will be sold a la carte. Classes are $37 per household/device.

When is the latest I can enroll in a class?
Enrollment will stay open until the last minute. However, for the best experience, we recommend enrolling at least 24 hours in advance – and even further in advance if you need extra time to shop for ingredients. Additionally, important instructions will be sent out the day before each class.

Participants will have access to video recordings of any class they purchase. That way you can watch the replay and cook whenever is most convenient for you.

How does it work? Do I need a special program to participate in a class?

This requires a quick and easy download, but you do not need a special Zoom account to participate (we’ll send all the instructions on how to use Zoom if you register for a class). Class information and video replays will be hosted on this website. You will set up a password to access your class page when you enroll.

Chicca is your food enthusiast Italian friend and teacher! With over 20 years experience teaching cooking classes, she loves to share her knowledge about home cooking from her family heritage. She’ll help you build skills to cook delicious meals in your own kitchen while bringing to life the culture of Tuscany.

Arnaud, a guy of many passions and talents, is the gentleman behind the camera. Born in France, he traveled across the world and now lives with Chicca in Tuscany. He’s the creator of all the pictures and handles the camera during online classes, capturing every little detail of the cooking process for you.

Denise is our co-host and event manager. She owns her own creative retreat space in Oregon and is a seasoned project manager. She has cooked with Chicca in her kitchen in  Tuscany. This gives her first-hand knowledge to help create an incredible cooking experience for our cooking community.

Co-Founders

Jedd and Michelle are co-founders and former class co-hosts. As a nomadic couple, they are passionate about cross-cultural exchange. Pros at running events online and offline, they have lived and worked with Chicca for several months, assisting with her classes and cooking vacations in Tuscany.
