Saffron Arancini al Ragu Class
Similar to an orange fruit in shape and color, arancini is a fried ball of risotto. For this delicious recipe we’ll be using saffron risotto stuffed with mozzarella, meat ragu, and sweet peas.
It’s the most popular street food in Sicily and loved all over the world – just pure pleasure for your palate.
I’ll share with you my recipe to make the perfect arancini, with a crispy exterior that holds a rice ball with a melting heart. Your heart will melt, too, after the first bite.
– Arborio or Roma rice
– Saffron (optional)
– Parmigiano and mozzarella cheese
– Ground meat, tomato purée, and sweet peas
– Flour and breadcrumbs
