FAQs About Gifts

At the date and time of the class you’re registered for, you’ll join your cooking instructor Chicca (kee-ka), our team, and fellow cooks from all over the US and 3 other continents. Chicca will be instructing live from her home in Tuscany and her co-hosts, Jedd and Michelle, will help moderate and help everyone along the way. It’s a really fun experience and a great way to cook and connect with folks from around the world from the comfort of your home.

Each class is conducted through Zoom via a private link that will be sent to you via email. It can also be found on the class page once you’ve registered. If you’re not familiar with Zoom, our welcome email will also provide some helpful info and a quick video on how to have the best experience. Once the live class has finished, we do our best to get the class replay video to your inbox within 24 hours so you can watch on-demand.

April 23 – Crespelle Agli Asparagi: Asparagus crepes
In France they are called crepes, in Italy crespelle. Although these two countries, with a very similar culture, are competing for the origin of the recipe, a stack of crepes stuffed with asparagus and ricotta is something you don’t want to miss, no matter the country of their first creation.

May 7 – Handmade Ravioli Capresi
In this recipe, I’ll share with you how to prepare ravioli from scratch, making a particular ravioli dough, soft and smooth, and filling them with different cheeses and fresh herbs.

May 21 – Chicca’s Panna Cotta
Panna cotta, translated in Italian as “cooked cream”, is one of the most renowned Italian desserts. We’ll flavor this delicate dessert with a strawberry sauce, to celebrate the end of your meal with a tribute to Italian creaminess.

June 11 – Handmade Pesto Lasagna
From homemade lasagna noodles to traditional Italian pesto, I’ll teach you how to make creamy and soft layers of egg pasta sheets spread with cheese and the freshest homemade basil pesto.

July 16 – Eggplant Parmigiana Antipasti
In this easy recipe, we’ll take a classic and reinterpret it for an elegant appetizer that you’ll fall in love with (and will want to share it with others).

Gift redemption and class registration for our next season (Spring/Summer: April – July 2022) begins April 1st, 2022:

  1. Use any of the “redeem my gift” buttons found on this page, it will take you to our class offerings for our current season.
  2. Choose the class you want to register and redeem your gift for. Note that if you were gifted multiple classes you’ll go through this process multiple times
  3. You’ll then be asked some information to create an account with us (to give you access to the class page). Important: you will need your personalized gift code found on your gift certificate to complete the registration. Look for the “Have a Coupon” section towards the bottom of the registration page and click on that link. Then add your personalized code.
  4. Finish the registration and look for a confirmation email in your inbox. (check spam or promotions folders if this is the first time you are receiving email from us)

Yes. Gifts are valid for the upcoming season only, April through July, 2022.

The last day to redeem your gift is July 9, 2022 (one week before our final class for our Spring/Summer 2022 season). Gifts are not transferable to a future season.

You’ll receive a welcome email with all the information you’ll need for your upcoming class (recipe, shopping list, Zoom meeting link, etc..). Please note that we communicate everything about memberships and classes via email.
